Trio Techdesign Private Limited has been established to serve as an integrated engineering design facility for a wide range of applications to support project consultants for infrastructure design, MSMEs for manufacture, government establishments for indigenization programs and subject matter experts for captive engineering design.

Trio Techdesign offers outsourced design support for national and international engineering establishments in various functional blocks including component design, testing, simulation and analysis.

DR. SATISH V. KULKARNI

Scientist and Global Policy Leader

Dr. Satish Kulkarni is an accomplished scientist and global policy leader with over five decades of experience spanning industry, national laboratories, academia and diplomacy.

A Ph.D. from Virginia Tech, he has held senior roles at US Department of Energy’s Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, the University of California Office of the President, and the U.S. Department of State, where he served as Counselor for Science & Technology and Environment & Health Affairs at the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi.

He has led major interdisciplinary programs in advanced materials, transportation, energy and nuclear technologies, environment and global warming, sustainability, and served in academic leadership at Georgetown University and Virginia Tech. His contributions have earned him numerous honors, including induction into Virginia Tech’s Academy of Engineering Excellence and Graduate Alumni Achievement Award for ‘establishing an exemplary record of innovative scientific, educational, and policy leadership in national and international arenas.

Dr. Kulkarni continues to engage globally through invited lectures and advisory roles focused on education, science and technology, innovation, and policy matters.

SHRI VV PARLIKAR

Former Director of DRDO

An IIT Bombay alumnus (M. Tech in Systems & Controls) with a mechanical engineering foundation from JNTU Hyderabad, Shri Parlikar has also completed executive programs at IIM Ahmedabad and XIM Bhubaneswar. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India) and a life member of INSARM, FPSI, ISSS, and the Robotics Society of India. His extensive publications and professional engagements keep us connected to the forefront of national and international defence R&D. Shri V.V. Parlikar brings unmatched leadership and domain insight, gained from over 40 years at the helm of India’s top defence R&D initiatives. His tenure as Director of DRDO’s R&DE (Engineers) saw the successful delivery of over 50 advanced systems, positioning him as a transformative force in systems engineering in the development of cutting-edge systems including NBC-protected shelters, mine-laying and breaching equipment, hyperbaric naval chambers, and surveillance technologies. Shri Parlikar’s contributions span critical domains such as military robotics, autonomous UGVs, mobile military bridging and combat engineering systems, and advanced field defence equipment. His leadership was instrumental in the lab earning the prestigious Silicon Trophy for best performance.

REAR ADMIRAL SRINIVAS KANUGO, AVSM, VSM (RETD)

Former Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (Air Materiel)

Rear Admiral Srinivas Kanugo, AVSM, VSM (Retd), was commissioned into the Electrical Branch of the Indian Navy in 1981. Following his initial training, he specialised in Naval Aviation and went on to serve the Navy with distinction until his retirement in 2017. He concluded his career as the first Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (Air Materiel), a pivotal role at Naval Headquarters. An Aviation Electrical Specialist, Admiral Kanugo held several key and challenging appointments across Indian Naval Ships and Air Squadrons. He commanded critical establishments, including the Naval Aviation MRO, the Naval Aviation Quality Assurance Organisation, and the Naval Institute of Aeronautical Technology. At senior leadership levels, he was instrumental in managing and sustaining Naval Air Assets, both in the field and at the apex level. He holds a B.Tech in Electronics & Communications Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, an M.Tech in Aeronautics (Electrical) from Cochin University of Science and Technology, and an M.E in Mechanical Engineering (Guided Missiles) from Pune University. In recognition of his exceptional service, Admiral Kanugo was conferred the Vishisht Seva Medal (VSM) in 2013 and the Ati Vishisht Seva Medal (AVSM) in 2017 by the Hon’ble President of India. Post retirement, he has been actively contributing to the growth of the Indian Defence and MRO sectors, with a strong focus on advancing indigenous capabilities in line with the Government of India’s ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ initiative.

ARJUN MUKUND KULKARNI

Director

A dynamic business leader with over two decades of experience in strategic planning, operations, and market expansion, Arjun Mukund Kulkarni has played a pivotal role in shaping the success of Trio Group. Under his leadership, the company has grown into a preferred manufacturing partner for top international leather and non-leather goods brands and one of India’s foremost exporters of premium leather & non-leather goods. As one of the promoters of this technology company, Arjun drives innovation in intelligent engineering design across infrastructure, machinery, materials, and mechatronics as Director. He is also currently the President of ILPA (Indian Leather Products Association) apart from being a Member of CLE, CLRI and CII. Arjun is a graduate of St Xavier’s, Kolkata and holds an MBA in Marketing from IIMM, Pune.

PRIYANKUR MUKUND KULKARNI

Director

A seasoned third generation businessman, Priyankur is Director at Trio Group. He is highly experienced in leather and sustainable fabric products design and manufacture. Under his leadership, Trio Group is amongst the top exporters in the country. His other business interests include Skin Care, Real Estate and Technology. He handles operations of a strong workforce of over 2500 personnel across various industries. He is a Member of CLE, CLRI, CII and Business Network ALFA. Priyankur is a graduate of St Xavier’s, Kolkata and holds an MBA in Finance from Symbiosis, Pune.

DR. DAVE JEYASELVAN

President & CEO

Dr. Dave Jeyaselvan, a technocrat has four decades of experience in establishing versatile engineering industries in various parts of the world. He has been instrumental in promoting integrated manufacturing clusters with focus on Defence Technologies, Autonomous Machines, Transportation Systems and Electromechanical Engineering. He has been a guiding force in building a strong Academia – Industry collaboration for the development of the MSME Sector in India and is actively engaged in the adaptation of Digital Lifestyle Technologies for Smart Communities. He has served in the board of several companies over the years in various capacities across the globe. He has been an advisor for Inter- Governmental Projects in Africa and is actively engaged in the global socio-economic arena. He is spearheading several large integrated infrastructure development programs under the ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan’ for the indigenous manufacture of Defence equipment in partnership with the designated State Governments.

SURESH DASARATHY

CFO

Suresh Dasarathy is Chartered Accountant by profession with 4 plus decades of experience. He is the Chief Financial Officer of Trio Techdesign. He is proficient in direct and indirect taxes. In 2018-19 Suresh worked with GSTIN to bring about two significant changes in the law. He is an expert in Corporate Strategy and nuances of Corporate Finance apart from having a deep understanding of Corporate Insurance. His expertise in ERP modules has also been acknowledge in the financial domain.

GOWTHAM RAMAMURTHY

COO & Former Commander Indian Navy

Commander Gowtham Ramamurthy (Retd) is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Trio Techdesign. He comes with over 27 years of experience in Aerospace & Defence. A Veteran of the Indian Navy, he has vast experience in setting up of repair facilities, maintenance, intensive trials of aircraft and equipment, indigenization, and obsolescence management. His Corporate tenures include VP (Operations) at Aviatech Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. and Associate Director at Transdigm Technologies India Pvt Ltd prior to joining Trio Techdesign as COO. He is a Member of Aeronautical Society of India. Gowtham is an Industrial Engineering graduate with a Master’s Degree in Aeronautical Engineering. He has also completed a General Management Program for Aerospace and Aviation Executives jointly conducted by IIM Bangalore and Toulouse Business School.
